Horticultural History of the “Executive Residence”
Wed., March 10, 1:00 p.m.
First Baptist Church, New London
Kevin Bragg, with thirty years in the horticultural industry, has a lineage that traces back ten generations to the Isles of Shoals. He combines his passion for plants and history to explore the relationships among them. Bragg's lectures and presentations, such as the one at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, offer a journey through time, examining the horticultural history behind the Executive Residence and the impact of Presidents, their wives, architects, gardeners, and children on the White House grounds. .
