The Club’s projects and programs are funded by membership dues and our annual Antique Show, held annually on the New London Town Green on the fourth Saturday of July. This year the Antique Show will be replaced with another project to be announced.
In addition, the Club:
Funds two or three scholarships each year for students in the fields of agriculture, horticulture, or environmental science at either University of New Hampshire or Colby-Sawyer College.
Holds standard flower shows, open to the public, which include horticultural, design, educational and youth exhibits and competitions.
Sponsors annual competition and awards to Main Street businesses and homeowners to promote town-wide interest in gardens and beautification.
Is a member of the NH Federation of Garden Clubs (www.nhfgc.org) and National Garden Clubs, Inc.
In addition to regular program meetings, members also particpate in field trips, special garden tours, and workshops on a variety of horticultural and design subjects, and receive the Club's quarterly newsletter.
