The Club’s projects and programs are funded by membership dues and other fund raisers.  


In addition, the Club:


  • Funds two or three scholarships each year for students in the fields of agriculture, horticulture, or environmental science at either University of New Hampshire or Colby-Sawyer College.

  • Holds standard flower shows, open to the public, which include horticultural, design, educational and youth exhibits and competitions.

  • Sponsors annual competition and awards to Main Street businesses and homeowners to promote town-wide interest in gardens and beautification.

  • Is a member of the NH Federation of Garden Clubs ( and National Garden Clubs, Inc.


In addition to regular program meetings, members also particpate in field trips, special garden tours, and workshops on a variety of horticultural and design subjects, and receive the Club's quarterly newsletter.
